Persons commiting acts of violence

Do you resort to aggressive behaviour more often than others, cannot control your emotions, and don’t help your relatives even though you know they depend on you?

Count to ten. Stop. Restrain your aggression or passiveness towards your family. Think about the consequences. Before you do anything, think a minute if sometimes:

  1. You resolve problems and exert influence with force.
  2. You show poor self-control of aggressive behaviour.
  3. You push, hit, or pull and shove others.
  4. You insult and call people names.
  5. You force people to do humiliating things.
  6. You ridicule other people in front of others.
  7. You steal or destroy the property of others.
  8. You neglect ill people in need of assistance.
  9. You forbid family members from meeting people.
  10. You constantly control your family. In that case, you are at risk of using violence. Seek help and change your behaviour.
